Refund and Return Policy

At Pace Parts and Salvage, we aim to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. If there is an issue with your order, our team will work with you to resolve it efficiently.

Our online store is currently focused on new replacement vehicle parts. Return eligibility depends on the item type, condition, and whether the return meets the requirements below.

Return Eligibility

Most non-mechanical new parts may be returned within 7 days of delivery or collection, provided that:

  • The item has not been installed or used
  • The part is returned in its original condition
  • Original packaging and labels are included where possible

Major components such as engines, gearboxes, and similar assemblies may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery or collection, subject to inspection and approval.

Accepted Reasons for Return

Returns may be accepted under the following circumstances:

  • The item received is damaged, defective, or not as described
  • The incorrect part was supplied due to an error on our side
  • The item meets the return eligibility conditions above

If a part is incorrectly ordered by the customer, it may still be eligible for return, provided it has not been installed and remains in original condition.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Returns may not be accepted if:

  • The part has been installed, modified, or damaged after delivery or collection
  • The item shows signs of use or improper handling
  • The return request is made after the applicable return period
  • The item is returned without prior authorisation

Return Process

To request a return:

  • Contact us at info@pacepartssalvage.co.za or via WhatsApp on 084 025 8744 with your order number and reason for return
  • If approved, we will provide return instructions and authorisation
  • The item must be securely packaged and returned in its original condition

Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Refunds are typically completed within 5 - 7 working days after inspection
  • You will receive confirmation once your refund has been processed

Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to an error on our side, such as an incorrect or defective item, we will cover the return shipping cost
  • For all other approved returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees on approved returns.
